absolutely! I want a tattoo so badly, but I still haven't come u[ with the perfect thing yet... have ideas, but not sure yet. i don't want to get it and then realize i hate it

Then be sure to base it LESS on what it means and MORE on how good it looks. I don't care how many people tell you otherwise, the ones that really like their work for the longest period of time are the ones with the great looking work. A crappy piece that means a lot won't hold up (as far as your enjoyment) over time.
